This notice matches what the app does today. It is not a claim of production readiness or full regulatory certification.

What Vitalog is

Vitalog is a local-first family lab and medical history tracker. Profiles, lab values, visits, medications, and optional report files stay on your device. There is no Vitalog account server that uploads your medical history to our infrastructure.

Data we store on your device

• Profile details you enter (for example name and date of birth for family members)
• Lab values, ranges, and flags you enter or import
• Optional photos or PDFs of reports, visit notes, and treatment files (encrypted blob vault)
• Visits, medications, conditions, and reminders you create
• App lock PIN / biometric preference (keys in the platform keystore / secure storage)

What we do not do (current release)

• We do not sell your health data
• We do not show ads based on your health data
• We do not use analytics or crash SDKs that upload health contents
• We do not provide medical diagnosis; flags compare to the lab’s printed range you entered

Permissions

• Camera / photos — optional, to capture or attach report and visit files, and for on-device text recognition. Images stay on the device unless you share them.
• Biometric — optional, to unlock the app. Biometric templates stay with the OS.

Sharing

The app does not send health data to Vitalog servers. You may export, share, or open files with other apps you choose (email, Drive, messaging). That is under your control and those apps’ policies.

Deletion

In Settings you can wipe all local Vitalog data on this device (and revoke the encrypted vault). Uninstalling the app also removes local data subject to OS behaviour.

If you used export or backup files (.blbak or CSV/JSON), delete those copies yourself from wherever you saved them. We cannot remotely erase files on your device or in your personal cloud.

Children

Vitalog is intended for adults managing family health records. Do not use it to create profiles for children without appropriate parental authority under your local law.

Changes

We will update this page when collection or processors change (for example if optional user-owned cloud sync is added). The in-app or store listing version date will change.
